Summer Sky in My Eyes

I awoke to a loud ringing, and as the confusion and uncertainty rolled through my head, I realized it was the same confusion and uncertainty I went through everyday. I turned off my alarm clock and started to get dressed. It was then that my little brother ran in the room, "We're going on a vacation! We're going on a vacation!" He jumped on me, with his pajamas still on, and I laughed as I responded to his call. "Where to?"

"Alahambra Beach!" And I wasn't going to admit it, but I was more excited than he was after those words. I got dressed quickly and found my swimming trunks, I put them on under my clothes and ran to the car, where my mom and dad were already waiting. "Alahambra! Alahambra!" my brother announced as he walked down the steps, imitating a soldier in his poise.

The car ride over was nearly three hours, but every second of it was not boring, it was in fact, incredibly exhilerating, it had been so long since I went to Alahambra, and then as my mind pondered on and on about the beach, about the sites, the people, the food, the sky and the beach, it came. I saw the sand, and I went insane, I was so happy that we had joined again.

We parked and I ran out of the car, my clothes flew in the wind. . .and I saw. . .the Summer Sky in My Eyes.

Wooh. Spent about five to seven hours on this piece overall. Used Photoshop CS, and got stock images from mayang, sxc, and google. Originally it was going to be just a space scene, but then a friend, djbio, gave me the idea of a beach scene and I started working on it this morning. I was thinking of making a wallpaper pack, but not sure how to crop the images, anywho, that's for later. Sorry about the quantity of pieces, I'm just trying to get better I'll get out of your hair for a while.
